ACUPUNCTURE FOR ALL

Community Acupuncture is a gentle group experience where those experiencing financial transitions or the effects of lack of privilege can receive acupuncture on a donation basis (suggested donation $35) . No financial questions are asked and no one is turned away for lack of funds. At this time reservations are required for these sessions, which are the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, from 7-8:30. Please text or email to reserve a spot.

You will enter quietly, choose an open seat, and we will check-in about where you’d like to focus in a hushed whisper. You remain clothed and seated during your treatment. You may receive anywhere from 5-10 needles usually in the hands, wrists, face, head or neck. Community acupuncture is best for overall “tune-ups”, mental wellness and stress, headaches, and pain and chronic illness that are associated with stress. You are welcome to rest with your needles for as long as you desire (from 15-40 minutes).

Hand-blended tea, relaxing music, and aromatherapy round out the experience.

If you are in a position to donate beyond the full suggested amount, this helps to supplement those who are in need.
